June 1 Continuous Care Activities in 2017 Ended in a Satisfactory Way
On May 31, Tognwei Hope Primary School "June 1 Continuous Care" activity in 2017 begun. In the Dragon Boat Festival, seven education assistance groups sent condolences to the eight T&W Hope Primary Schools and provided education activities for nine days from various regions of the company. The education assistance groups brought flower project and loving books fund, with a total amount of nearly RMB 330,000 Yuan.
The education assistance groups this year also extended to each subsidiary of T&W. The executives of Chengdu Company joined the education assistance group, and went to Dali, Yunnan with the team. The volunteer teachers this year participated in TTT training of T&W training school to improve the teaching level in a targeted manner before leaving.
Because the 9th T&W Hope Primary School in under construction, the June 1 continuous care objects are still the 8 T&W Hope Primary Schools. The education assistance groups left at Dragon Boat Festival, and they tirelessly went to eight T&W Hope Primary Schools to bring love and care of more than 9000 employees to each child of hope primary schools. Nearly 330,000 Yuan charity fund, 2,850 love schoolbags, 266 gifts for excellent students and 2,352 sets of school uniforms were donated in this activity. The education assistance group members hold “June 1 Celebration” with the teachers and students of hope primary schools, and performed the programs of entertainment together.
Sixteen volunteer teachers (including three external teaching workers) tramped over hill and dale to visit the parents of poor students and extraordinarily poor students in teaching, and fully knew the students' family situation. The education assistance this time was not only to send material care, but also encourage the teachers and students to constantly strive to become stronger, and bravely pursue dream; moreover, we hoped to make western rural education have a synchronous development with urban education through music, computer, science, psychological counseling and other extra-curricular knowledge.
