On September 26, the completion ceremony was held in T&W Hope Primary School in Henjiaji Township, Hezheng County, Gansu Province. Wang Dawei, Chairman of Bandao Shares, Long Xiaojing, Vice President of Bandao Shares and Chairman of the T&W Charity Foundation, and relevant leaders of the county, city and Gansu Province, and Wang Li, President of Shanghai Chaoyang Middle School, and all teachers and students of T&W Hope Primary School attended the ceremony. T&W Hope Primary School in Chenjiaji Township, Hezheng County, Gansu Province is the ninth T&W Hope Primary School constructed with the donation by T&W Charity Foundation. It took more than one year and a total investment of 9,685,500 yuan from the location exploration, project establishment and design to the construction of the school. The foundation donated 4,158,500 yuan, and the matching fund from Hezheng County was 5.5 million yuan. One new teaching building and one comprehensive have been newly constructed respectively, with a total construction area of 3,376.44 square meters. In addition, the outdoor auxiliary facilities such as gates, flag platform, enclosures, water supply and drainage pipe networks have also been constructed. The completion of the project will solve the problem of difficulties in schooling for more than 400 students in Chenjiaji Town and surrounding areas.
At the completion ceremony, the Young Pioneers of T&W Hope Primary School in Chenjiaji Township presented red scarves for the leaders and guests. The ceremony officially started in the solemn national anthem. The deputy secretary of Hezheng County Party Committee, Jiang Jianmin, the representative county magistrate and Zheng County Party Committee and the County Government presented the silk banner to Shenzhen T&W Charity Foundation; Liu Lijun, the former Standing Committee of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee, the former Party Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, the Vice Chairman and the Director of the Provincial Committee for Next Generation and Wang Dawei, the chairman of the company jointly unveiled the nameplate of T&W Hope Primary School in Chenjiaji Township, Hezheng County. Wang Li, principal of Shanghai Chaoyang Middle School, donated the funds of books to T&W Hope Primary School on behalf of Chaoyang Middle School.
Director Liu Lijun said in his speech that the official completion of T&W Hope Primary School in Chenjiaji Township, Hezheng County was a very meaningful matter in the development of education cause in Hezheng County. It is not only the care of young people in ethnic areas in Gansu Province by Shenzhen Bandao Shares and T&W Charity Foundation, but also the great support for the provincial work in poverty alleviation.
Mr. Wang delivered a speech and expressed his gratitude to the leaders at all the levels who attended the completion ceremony. He said that the period from the seeds of hope were sown in the spring of March last year to the harvest today has witnessed the tremendous efforts the government has made in engineering construction, etc. The Foundation has the responsibility and obligation to donate to build Hope Primary School in Chenjiaji Township, Hezheng County. Since it is called T&W Hope Primary School, it will definitely advance with the company. The development course of the company is the result of hard work. It can be also been from all the public welfare activities of T&W that every Hope Primary School is progressing with great efforts under difficult conditions. This has touched us and spurred us to make progress together. It can be said that T&W Hope Primary School has become a part of the corporate culture of our company. These 9 Hope Primary Schools constitute a team and it is hoped that everyone can exchange ideas and improve together.
At the same time, Mr. Wang put forward three expectations for the school. First, he hoped that T&W Hope Primary School in Chenjiaji Township, Hezheng County, as a central school, can play a leading and demonstration role among nine T&W Hope Primary Schools. Second, he hoped that all students from Grade 1 to 6 of Hezheng T&W Hope Primary School can successfully complete the academic study of primary school. Third, he also hoped that students can successfully attend junior high school and complete nine-year compulsory education. Based on these three points for hope, the company and the foundation are also willing to support the school together with the government.
